Patrons support the Arboretum with a tax-deductible donation toward a variety of projects.  Here is the Bat House in 2014 just after installation by Eagle Scout Pat Harrison of Troop 64.  The idea is to attract bats, which feed on Mosquitoes.. thereby reducing the amount of pesticides the Bergen County Mosquito Control would need to spray on the borough.  This terrific project needs a sign… and information flyers to help educate people about this important community project.  Can you help with ideas for this as one way to utilize your Patronage?  Let us know and we welcome all volunteers too!  See the “About Us” tab, or call the Shade Tree Desk at 201-244-3920.
