Congratulations to Dumont High School 2017 graduating Seniors Zsofia Balog and Stefanie Moncayo, Recipients of the 2017 Friends of the Shade Tree Scholarship. This scholarship fund is established for the purpose of fostering education or contributions related to shade trees. Applicant must be accepted to an eligible institution as a candidate for degree, or be pursuing a career, in forestry, agriculture, landscape architecture, environmental sciences, earth sciences, biology, botany or any other field of study related to shade trees. We were impressed with their qualifications and their aspirations after graduation as they intend to work towards caring for and protecting the trees in our communities. We wish them well in their future endeavors.
